Where does an individual go to be fingerprinted?

There are many locations across the state for you to choose from. You can find locations at this website: https://fieldprintvirginia.com/. Click on “our locations” for a zip code search. This will give you the address and hours of operation of locations.

What information does an individual need to register for an appointment to be fingerprinted?

To be able to register for a fingerprint appointment you must have a Fieldprint code and a facility ID.

Fieldprint code: FPVADSSChDayCntrEmp

What do I need to bring with me when I am fingerprinted?

Once you register for an appointment, you will receive a confirmation page. You must bring that confirmation with you to the appointment. You can print it out or show it on your mobile device.

You must also bring two forms of ID with you to the appointment. One ID must be a picture ID. The website will provide you with different acceptable forms of ID when signing up.

How much does it cost for fingerprinting?

Common Ground will reimburse you for your fingerprinting. If you need us to pay for it up front, please email Liz and we can take care of that for you

3) Central Registry Search

You will receive an email from Liz that will ask you to complete information for your central registry search. Once you fill out that form, please let the office know so that we can complete our portion of it. The system does NOT alert anyone, so you must let someone know so that we don’t experience delays in your onboarding.

4) Tuberculosis Screening or Test

Please visit your physician and complete either a Tuberculosis screening or get at TB test and submit those results to the office.
