Nocturnal Animals and the Night Sky of Northern Virginia (1.0 Hour)
Animals who hunt in the night and hide in the day possess adaptations that enable them to navigate with minimal light.
These creatures often are misunderstood and sometimes are portrayed in myth and legend as scary or dangerous.
Separate fact from fiction and learn about the joys of sharing nighttime nature with children. We will also discuss easy ways to help children begin a lifelong fascination with the night sky.
