VA-ITSN - Infant Toddler Endorsement – August 2021 through March 2022

This 40-hour virtual Infant Toddler Endorsement course is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation of knowledge for those working with infants and toddlers in early learning programs. Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings and ending in March 2022.

The following topics will be discussed: Ages/Stages of Development, Development of Language, Appropriate Learning Environments, Guiding Behavior, Health Screening, Partnerships with Parents, Observation and Recording, Planning Activities, Preventing Injuries, and Understanding Temperaments. Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded the VADSS Infant Toddler Endorsement. If you are not seeking Endorsement, but would like to attend the individual topic sessions, you will receive certificates of hours earned upon completion of the full 4-hour topic.  Space is limited.
