1789-01 Literacy Connections: Early Math Concepts – Measurement (1.0 Hour) *In-person training/space is limited*
Math is everywhere! In this session, we will review early math concepts infants, toddlers, and preschoolers need to understand to build a solid foundation for the elementary years. Using three classic children’s books as our guide, we will explore ways to reinforce and expand upon early mathematical concepts for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through many multi-sensory, engaging activities. Finally, we will generate new activities connected to other books that participants can use to promote and reinforce early math concepts.
