Who We Are! Children With Down Syndrome (Three-part series – 1.0 hour each)
This presentation will look into the complexities of Down Syndrome in children in detail. Our discussion will cover a wide range of the physical and cognitive characteristics of Down Syndrome, the challenges that children may face in different environments, the adjustments and accommodations that can be made to support them, and various strategies for including them in our programs.
We will have a panel discussion featuring a parent with a child with Down Syndrome. The parent will share their experience, challenges, and successes in raising and supporting a child with Down Syndrome. This discussion will provide valuable insights into how we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for Children with Down Syndrome.
By the end of the presentation, you will better understand Down Syndrome in children and be equipped with practical knowledge and strategies to support and include them in our program.
