We are All the Same; We are All different (2-Part Series; 3 hours credit)
An anti-bias approach toward cultural diversity provides children with opportunities, language, and encouragement to share their cultural identities in an environment that fosters interest and curiosity. This approach also helps them learn how to appreciate and interact with cultural differences while equipping them with the necessary skills to address biases about their and their family cultures. Preschool teachers will increase their understanding of diversity and equip them with practical tools to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children.
