When You Wonder You Are Learning: Exploring the Why Behind the CLASS Measure (VIRTUAL – 6 hours credit)
This learning opportunity will explore what are the key skills that are most important for children to know and be able to do. Throughout the class, we will discuss the 10 tools for learning identified by Fred Rogers in his landmark television show, Mr. Roger’s neighborhood. These tools for learning will be aligned with the behaviors and interactions measured through the CLASS tool. Learn how CLASS observations measure what really matters – the interactions that support children’s engagement, development and learning. Learn how to increase your use of these practices and why they are so important.
